CEEPUS /

CEEPUS is a regional program that began operating in March 1995. The aim of the program is to establish and promote the mobility of students and professors among the participating countries and to make use of friendly links and opportunities for the creation of joint study programs. The CEEPUS program involves higher education institutions from the following countries: Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Montenegro, Croatia, Kosovo, Hungary, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Serbia.

Mobility of students and professors
CEEPUS works on networks. They are established by individual universities, faculties or their departments for specific fields. The so-called “networks” must comprise at least three partner universities / faculties / departments, of which at least two are from different countries. One of these institutions is the network coordinator. The Network as a whole is running for a certain number of months of exchange, which can only be made for the hosting of foreign students and professors in accordance with the confirmed proposal of the exchange program.

Students and professors may apply for a scholarship only within the network to which their institution is involved. The CEEPUS scholarship is awarded by the recipient country and includes scholarship, accommodation and health care and provides exemption from tuition fees. Travel costs are not covered! The network ensures the recognition of a study period that a student spends at a partner institution and not at a home institution.

A.L.I.C.E. network /

In 2010, the Faculty of Design was the initiator and founder of the association A.L.I.C.E. – Architecture Landscape Interiors Culture Emotions (http://alice.fd.si/). Eleven higher education institutions and two from the economy joined the Founding Meeting and signed the Letter of Intent. Basically, the association is dedicated to professional and pedagogical cooperation between the institutions from the Western Balkans, but also partners from Europe, Russia and the USA joined us. The main goal of the association is the annual organization of a scientific conference, exhibition and international competition for the selection of the best student projects.

In order to promote international exchanges of lecturers and students, we applied for and received funds for carrying out mobility within CEEPUS – Central European Exchange Program for University Studies (http://alice.fd.si/).
